TRAINING

LAAP can assure employee interest and promote safety awareness to potential hazards in the workplace by providing superior-quality training required by OSHA regulations to both English and Spanish speaking employees. OSHA 10 & 30 HOUR TRAINING

LAAP's trainers have a mimimum of 10 years experience in General Industry and Construction activities and are authorized by OSHA to conduct OSHA 10 and 30 hour training for General Industry and Construction.  This training provides instruction to students in the basics of safety and health hazard recognition the help your company reduce the potential for accidents and injuries.

Comprehensive OSHA-Type Safety Audit & Gap Analysis

LAAP's competent, qualified safety consultants will conduct a comprehensive OSHA-type safety audit of your facility, consisting of the following:
1. Administrative Review
    a. Safety Manual Review
    b. Employee Training Review
    c. OSHA Record Keeping and Accident Review
    d. Accident History and Documentation Review (Trend Analysis)
2. Comprehensive Facility Safety & Security Walkthrough Audit

Client will receive a formal report documenting our findings within one week after completion.


OHSAS 18001

OHSAS 18001 is Occupational Health and Safety Assessment Series for health and safety management systems, designed to assist organizations in recognizing, evaluating, and controlling their occupational health and safety risks. LAAP is prepared to assist you in the implementation of OHSAS 18001 in preparation for certification.

ANSI Z10

The American National Standards Institute (ANSI) and the American Industrial Hygiene Association developed ANSI Z10, which is a voluntary consensus standard for Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems. This consensus standard provides an effective management tool for organizations to continuously improve their occupational health and safety performance. It focuses on principles that are broadly applicable to organizations of all sizes and types and is compatible with occupational health and safety, environmental and quality management systems. LAAP can assist by conducting comprehensive auditing of your organization to ensure conformance with this consensus standard.

RC 14001

In 2002, the American Chemistry Council adopted a new management system approach for implementing Responsible Care in the U.S., including mandatory independent third-party verification. This system offers an integrated, structured approach to drive results in seven key areas: community awareness and emergency response; security; distribution; employee health and safety; pollution prevention; process safety; and product stewardship. LAAP is prepared to assist you with the implementation of RC 14001 in preparation for your certification audit.

CDI-T Auditing

The Chemical Distribution Institute (CDI) provides the chemical industry with an independent organization for training, qualification, and accreditation of inspectors and a web site database on which inspection reports can be listed, managed, and assessed. The CDI-T/RCMS audit conducted by CDI-T inspectors is designed to:
  • Improve the safety and quality performance of bulk liquid storage for the chemical industry
  • Provide chemical companies with a cost effective system for risk assessment, thus assisting in the commitment to Responsible Care
  • Provide a single set of accurate, reliable and consistent inspection data which chemical companies can use with confidence
The CDI-T audit is composed of 1800+ questions:
  • Management Section
  • Technical Section

The average CDI-T audit requires 5 days for completion.

PROCESS SAFETY MANAGEMENT (PSM)

OSHA's Process Safety Management of Highly Hazardous Chemicals (HHC) standard requires certain companies to design appropriate programs to prevent or minimize the consequences of catastrophic releases of HHCs.  LAAP, Inc. can conduct a Gap Analysis of your PSM program and facility to determine shortcomings and inconsistencies the could result in major fines from OSHA and worse, catastrophis events. Once the Gap Analysis is completed, we can assit by by tailoring your PSM program to suit your unique needs.
