ISO 45001
ISO 45001 is an international standard for Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems (OH&S MS), which has replaced OHSAS 18001, that specifies requirements for an OH&S Management System to enable organizations to proactively manage their OH&S performance in preventing injury and ill health, along with controlling their occupational health and safety risks. LAAP is prepared to assist you in the development and implementation of your ISO 45001 Management System in preparation for certification. Phase I consists of a comprehensive Gap Analysis to determine any shortcomings and corrective actions that may be needed prior to contacting a Registrar for ISO certification. This analysis will include a review of your internal policies, procedures, and documentation as they pertain to ISO 45001 Management System Guidelines. Phase II is where we assist you in "filling the gaps" and implementation of your OH&S Management System. Phase III is where our representative, competent in ISO 45001, will serve are your "internal auditor", as required by ISO 45001 Clause 9.2, performing the required internal audit at intervals specified by you in your OH&S Management System. ANSI Z10
The American National Standards Institute (ANSI) and the American Industrial Hygiene Association (AIHA) developed ANSI Z10, which is a voluntary consensus standard for Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems. This consensus standard provides an effective management tool for organizations to continuously improve their occupational health and safety performance. It focuses on principles that are broadly applicable to organizations of all sizes and types and is compatible with occupational health and safety, environmental and quality management systems. RC 14001
